It is always interesting to see hundreds of people taking time out to lay around in parks and gain a little tan. I say little tan as we haven't had fine weather since New York. Never fear Bridget is still looking brown. Hehehe!!!! Photo two is just one of a hundred streets where people sit down to have a long lunch break on Sunday. We loved the bikes with the FAT tyres because many roads are still built of cobbled stones dating back to Roman times. It is times like this you appreciate how young a country New Zealand is and the importance of our education system to ensure our students reflect on global experiences and lessons learnt as they lead us into the future. Our country has exciting times ahead.

I remember when we were in Europe we had to ban ourselves from saying 'I wonder how old that is ?" You are right about how you get to realise in a diffent way just how YOUNG we are as a country here in NZ. But hey that means we are full of innovation, energy and enthusiasm doesn't it?
