We spend our last day in Berlin riding round on hike bikes. For 10Euro each we had the use of two bikes for up to 12 hours. We spend 7 hours cruising the parks, streets and canals on this Sunday. Great chance to see this city because all the shops are closed therefore the traffic is minimal. All the tourist sites are open. Germans believe Sunday should be a family day and it really works as we saw thousands of family groups out and about. Eating out is also an important part of their culture as you will see in other photos. Notice the path Bridget is walking her bike down. Yes even the steps are user friend for those on bikes

We think it is cool how you and Bridget are biking around Berlin and seeing the sights. All of the class love the AWESOME toy shop.
Have fun and thanks for the very cool pictures.
I am most impressed with the bicycle friendly steps! They are great and a real testimony to city planners encouraging cycling. Erika
