We were fortunate to look through the area known as Old Dubai and the contrast from large city skyscrapers and flash cars was very noticeable. Old Dubai is the area where your labourers and housemaids mainly reside. The wharf is stacked with supplies being shipped to Iran and other such places. The place is a buzz with wheeling and dealing, what we would refer to in NZ as organised chaos. But who am I to judge as it seems to work for them.
