The Challenge of Harvard University

I remember watching the movie The Firm in which Tom Cruise graduated from Harvard Law School. I recall the tradition of the place and the believe that this was the best University to attend if you want to achieve in life. Nothing has changed with the belief those working in Harvard exhibit and articulate. I am engaged in 3 hours of keynote addresses and the day the ends with an hour long team seminar. They start on time and finish on time and the content of lectures is of the highest level. Each of our presenters are very well researched and all have had their researched work published. They are inspiring and stimulating. I have reflected on what we have achieved as a Learning Community at Rotorua Intermediate and now have been inspired to share my thoughts on our direction in the future as we strive to be 'globally recognised for the high quality learning and teaching that our students are achieving.

This University has history dating back to 1836. I have had lectures where presenters have used power points while others have used chalk and talk. We sit in old lecture theatres surrounded by images of past academics and university achievements. Our school is in the process of creating our tradition and quality. We all must ensure we aim for the highest possible stars.

I have purchased a Harvard Banner for our school to be displayed in a prominent position for our students to believe nothing is impossible.

Boston city is also full of history related to the American Wars when the British were driven out and slavery was abolished after some long battles. Americans are very proud of their history and are happy to share stories of the courage of former countryman.

I have many photos so I intend to edit out those of me swimming at the beach and only post those of me in heavy duty study. Harvard has been such an inspiration but it won't be long before I will be saying "Been there, done that, got the T shirt.
